Tangle Refresher!

For all the new folks joining us this 2013, here’s what this is all about.

The TanglePatterns.com Tangle Refresher series is a regular feature of the site appearing every other Friday. The purpose is to dig out “Buried Treasure” on the site by featuring tangles that appeared a year ago. The Tangle Refresher series has been around long enough now that the last link in the list is to a Tangle Refresher that appeared a year ago – thus tangles that are now two years old.

In both cases these Tangle Refreshers can remind folks of patterns they might not have used for a while or introduce everyone to patterns they might not have come across yet – after all there are almost 500 tangles on the site now. Here are five more tangle pattern gems and a Tangle Refresher from a year ago for your tangling pleasure. There are also links at the bottom to more buried content, so be sure to check those out too.

I also want to point out a little housekeeping I’ve been doing around the site over the last couple of weeks.

In addition to a bunch of behind-the-scenes stuff that keeps everything running smoothly, the most visible change I made was to add a TUTORIALS link on the pink alphabetic menu bar located under the tangle images. There you’ll find gathered all the tutorial-type posts  and this should make these resources much easier for you to locate quickly in the future.

And on that note, let’s get to the Refresher … Happy Tangling!

Thanks for compiling all the tutorials. Your organization skills are enviable!
I didn’t realize how much helpful information was on the site. Your efforts have reduced the number of clicks to get to them as well as any frustration caused by searching to find them. Nice!

I want to thank you for the long hours you put in to maintain the Tangle site. Because of you I can spend many hours drawing and enjoying all the patterns.
