How to draw POMEGRANATE By Linda Farmer, CZT ~ January 9th, 2012
Here’s a super simple tangle pattern with great character that makes an excellent filler. Pomegranate is Patti Gleve’s first pattern on the site.
“I live in Shropshire in the UK, with my other half (aka ‘himself’). I guess I’m pretty new to Zentangle as Zentangle, but it’s something I’ve always done; I like the rhythm of repetition and the sound patterns that the pen makes as I draw.
I also like that a Zentangle can be a completed work in a short amount of time, or can become part of a much larger image which grows organically, without formal planning or structure.“
Here are Patti’s steps for drawing her Pomegranate tangle, along with her monotangle of the pattern. I love how free Patti’s version is, you can almost see these little things moving.

Thanks so much for sharing, Patti!
