How to draw KNIGHTSBRIDGE and CRAZY KNIGHTSBRIDGE

How to draw: Knightsbridge. Image © Linda Farmer and TanglePatterns.com. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. You may use this image for your personal non-commercial reference only. The unauthorized pinning, reproduction or distribution of this copyrighted work is illegal. The Legend that came with the first edition of the Official Zentangle® Kit labels this Nightsbridge and Sandy Bartholomew also calls it Nightsbridge in AlphaTangle, so that’s the name I used when I originally posted this tangle in May 2010.

Later and in my CZT training I learned the tangle is correctly spelled Knightsbridge. The Kit now has an updated Legend with Knightsbridge correctly labeled.

Knightsbridge is a Zentangle®-original tangle pattern created by originators Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas.

As Sandy Bartholomew comments, “it has unlimited customizing options. Also, this simple grid is the basis for many advanced patterns. Once you master the straight on grid, you can wiggle the lines and really distort things.” This is what we now call Crazy Knightsbridge.
