Zentangle’s 2025 Mental Health Awareness Month 21-Day Challenge – Chronology

Be well, be you, Bijou. To honor May’s Mental Health Awareness Month, recently Zentangle HQ launched a 21-day “challenge”: the 2025 Bijou Be Well Series.

The video series also introduces new Bijouisms each day from May 10th through May 30th.

The new Bijouisms are introduced through a daily video lesson:

During this challenge, we will delve into one tangle on one square tile each day and allow the pen to soothe our soul.

Each video lesson is accompanied by Native American-style flute music by Rick Roberts. With its calming effects and gentle tranquility, we think it’s the perfect soundtrack for creating Zentangle art. Rick plays all the songs on flutes he carved himself. We invite you to find 15-20 minutes to tangle along with us!

This article is a chronology containing links to the daily video and will be updated each day when the new video is published. Be sure to bookmark this page and revisit it for the daily link.

Patterns that are drawings of a recognizable naturalistic or actual object, figure, or scene, are not tangles. A pattern is not always a tangle — here's what makes a tangle.
