How to draw FESTUNE

Festune is one of the earliest “official” tangle patterns, one of the 102 Zentangle®-originals. Such a pretty one and easy too!

As part of the Twelve Days of Zentangle, 2018 Edition series, several of these “old” tangles that haven’t been publicly published before are being included in the series. Naturally I’m adding each of them to TanglePatterns, so there will be a few more tangles coming your way than usual.

In this Day 3 video Maria demonstrates how to tangle Festune. She says,

“For the life of me can’t remember why we called it that I just know that I always liked that word, it’s kind of a fun. … I don’t know what my influence on designing this was because it’s just so long ago.“
