According to the calendar, here in the Northern Hemisphere we are now officially into Spring with the Vernal Equinox occurring at 12:57 PM EDT yesterday, March 20th.
“The word equinox is derived from the Latin words meaning ‘equal night.’ Days and nights are approximately equal everywhere and the Sun rises and sets due east and west.” – The Old Farmer’s Almanac.
While we’re celebrating this most delightful of seasons, our tangling friends in the Southern Hemisphere are observing the first day of Fall and all the wonders that that entails. It always amazes me that our seasons in the hemispheres are opposite each other, it’s a strange thing to get my head around. Isn’t this planet something? In recognition of the new season, today’s official tangle refresher couldn’t be anything else but Printemps. Enjoy, and happy equinox — whichever one applies to you.
The Tangle Refresher series, aka Buried Treasure, highlights hidden tangle gems from the past. It can remind you of patterns you might not have used for a while or introduce you to patterns you haven’t come across yet.
Here are five more tangle pattern gems and a Tangle Refresher from a year (or two) ago for your tangling pleasure. Remember to check out the “More Good Stuff” links below too. Zenful tangling!
BTW as you visit these tangles please Tweet or “like” them on Facebook so they get shared with a wider audience. Sharing links are on the left side of each pattern’s page. Thanks!

Linda:
I just love your site! And thank you for sharing it over the Internet. I am an amputee and it is difficult for me to get out. While I’d love to take a Zentangle class I’m not sure I can manage it right now. But until I can, your site has allowed me to find a new creative form of expression and a method of relaxation that I have been looking for for a long time.
I noticed above you mentioned that there are share links to the left on each patterns page, but I’m just not seeing them. Have they been removed? I’d love to share your site with others so they can benefit from it as much as I have.
Hi ZaBeth, the share links are on the left of the screen on the dark red side panel.
