How to draw VALENTINE KISS

Happy Valentine’s Day my tangling friends!

May all your days be sweet, and some with highlights of chocolate 🙂

Today’s Valentine Kiss tangle is from Japanese CZT Mika Igusa. Recently we explored her Q10 tangle.

BTW if you were expecting the usual monthly Tangle Refresher today, it will appear next Friday – a temporary shift in schedule so we could squeeze in one last heart tangle for today’s celebrations. And of course, Valentine Kiss has the appropriate name for today too!

Mika explains that her inspiration for Valentine Kiss  was “The Queen of Hearts, from Alice“, and pleased that she came up with a tangle for Valentine’s Day.

For my example I played around with mirroring the shapes in Step 3 just for fun. Valentine Kiss could be considered a tangleation of CZT Genevieve Crabe’s Demi from so many years ago, the concept certainly shares DNA with it and a few others on the site.

Mika illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing Valentine Kiss below and she fills a Valentine heart with her bold tangle.
