Another Monday, and a very easy tangle to start the week!
Winflo is a lovely tangle from German CZT Nadine Roller, and it’s her first on the site.
Nadine writes,
I live with my husband and our six-year-old son in Cologne, Germany. I studied orthopedagogy and work as a speech therapist since 13 years.
I love paper and pens and being creative ever since i can remember. I have been always searching for something creative, that is suitable for daily use. And then, so suddenly, fell this wonderful, special and incomparable Zentangle Method into my lap. It has changed my life completely.
So i have to confess that i am hooked to Zentangle since two years. I went to Providence at spring 2015 and became a CZT18 🙂
About her tangle she says,
I called it Winflo, because it looks like a WINgFLOwer.
In the beginning, the pattern was rather unyielding and rigidly linear … As time went by and I tangled Winflo over and over it changed: Winflo became flexible and got an open mind about other directions. … Winflo got wings and regards now other directions and new perspectives with curiosity.
Nadine illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing Winflo here on her blog. She features it in beautiful Zentangle tiles showing a double-stemmed version along with some Zentangle-original tangles, and several other lovely examples and ways to use Winflo as a border.
As you enjoy any of the tangles on the site, please do leave a comment of thanks and encouragement to show the artists you appreciate them for sharing their creativity to inspire yours.
