How to draw JILLI

Zentangle pattern: JilliJilli is a tangle pattern inspired by some wallpaper observed by Chicago-area CZT® Sue Jacobs.

Sue enjoys going on tangle trips … “I look at buildings, I look at carpeting, I look, well, everywhere.” Sue says she was attracted by the dimensionality of the wallpaper’s pattern.

Jilli starts out with columns of curvy lines then auras are added to the inside of the resulting shapes and cross-hatching lines added to the lower half of each.

Sue illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing Jilli here on her blog where she also shows Jilli in combination with several official tangles in a completed Zentangle®.
