How to draw SLALOM

Zentangle pattern: SlalomAfter more than a month of medication-hopping I think I finally have the allergies somewhat under control. In need of “easy on the eyes” patterns, Sandra Strait’s tangle Slalom fit the bill just perfectly.

Slalom is a great filler that’s fun to draw and it has loads of potential for variation. Add solid fills as I did here, or more fills than I did, or double up the wavy lines, or double up the circles, just for a start.

Sandra illustrates how to draw Slalom, here.

A little behind with the Mooka

Here’s my minimalist take on the latest official pattern, Mooka, didn’t get a chance to try it until now. What fun! I covered a whole page with variations on the loops but this version was my personal fav.
