One can’t help but notice “Back to School” ad supplements in the papers lately. And wondering, “Where did the summer go?” [Soon it will be college football season - Yay!]
This got me thinking about teachers preparing lesson plans for their new students and out there buying kids supplies out of their own funds because school budgets are too tight to provide them.
So I’m going to lay a suggestion on you. How about giving a teacher (or two) you know the gift of a copy of Suzanne McNeill’s Zentangle Basics so they can share this wonderful experience with their students? Suzanne offers suggestions for integrating Zentangles into their subject matter to give students a fun learning experience.
You can even follow up at Christmas with Zentangle 2 and/or Zentangle 3.
Each one is a mere $9 investment that’s a win-win for everybody – kids, teachers, parents.
Give it some thought. And if you take me up on the idea, please drop by again and let me know in the comments. Let’s start a Zentangle revolution in our schools! What can be wrong with that?
PS: And if you buy them using my Amazon links on the Book Reviews pages, I’d really appreciate it

I only discovered this wonderful artform a week ago, and talk about addiction, I have completed one 12×16, two 11×14 and a whole bunch of small ones to go on cards, since that is my main endeavor. I am 90 years old, and this is definitely a new, exciting art for me. Thanks for all the wonderful tangles, and I have ordered all 3 of Susan’s books! I subscribed to your blog last week.
