It also gives us good practice at drawing and spacing orbs. My example above is the variation Magda includes in her instructions, and one small change to that gives another pretty variation shown on the right. It’s interesting to me how one small change like this makes such a difference in what the eye is drawn to.

Magda illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing Graancirkel below.

Magda, I like this a lot. I’m amazed at how different Linda’s looks compared to your original design. I like your as it looks more flowing. Linda, I like yours too, but you are so good at making things so perfectly straight, that it’s a bit intimidating. I feel like I’ve done a poor job when mine don’t come out as straight. But then yours are so beautiful. I’m glad Magda’s is so flowing. I can do that and it is also beautiful.

I really like this tangle and am anxious to try it. Thank you for sharing it Magda. I’m really new to Zentangle and am enjoying it very much. Thank you Linda, for this terrific web site. I look forward to it every morning.

Thank you for sharing Graancirkel Linda. It is amazing that the variation looks so different. I would use both of the patterns, yours if I wanted to make a bold statement and Magda’s if I wanted something more whimsical. I am like Marie Segigny, very new to Zentangle and look forward to your e-mail every morning. (Your e-mail is the first one that I look for)! This site is totally amazing!

Thank you so much for all of your hard work!

This is a really great pattern. I don’t remember seeing it before, but I’m delighted that I’ve found it now!! Thanks for posting it with the rest of the “Refresher,” Linda.
