How to draw CINNAMON ROSE

Hi there!

It’s the weekend already and after teams from 48 countries have played 102 matches over the last month we’ve arrived at the grand finale of the FIFA World Cup 2026™. Two teams are left standing and the champion will be decided on Sunday in a much anticipated “tactical clash” between Spain and Argentina. The tournament has been quite the roller coaster of fun, amazing, and frustrating moments, and wonderful entertainment overall. Can’t wait to see which country is crowned to reign as World Champions for the next four years.

Cinnamon Rose is a fun new tangle from California-Japanese CZT Yoko Kageyama. This is her 8th tangle on the site, be sure to check out the rest.

I often draw in my sleep. The patterns are often ones I have never seen or drawn before. This time, I dreamed I was drawing a new tangle and named it Cinnamon Rose. When I woke up, I drew it on paper and was delighted with how cute it looked. It begins like a cinnamon roll and gradually blossoms into a rose. By changing the shape of the petals, it can also become a peony, a carnation, or many other flowers.

Tip: After drawing Printemps, add short straight lines radiating from the center. Each new line begins where the previous line started. Then, draw the petals by skipping one straight line and connecting to the tip of the second line.
