Here’s an easy, colorful musical Christmas ornament for you to make from Jacksonville FL-based CZT Dorian Eng.
In this 5-minute video presented by Sakura, Dorian demonstrates how to create a Zentangle-inspired holiday bell ornament using three 3.5″ square Zentangle tiles or watercolor paper cut into squares.
Dorian also shows a suggestion for decorating the ornament using the Zentangle-original tangles Echoism and Ahh, together with Sakura Gelly Roll pens and a Koi Water Brush.
Supplies:
- Pigma Micron 01 pen Gelly Roll Moonlight, Stardust, Metallic and Classic White pens
- Sakura Koi Water Brush, or small paintbrush and water
- 3.5″ square Zentangle tiles, or watercolor paper cut into 3.5″ squares
- Paper, glue, tape
- 12″ string
- jingle bell
- X-acto knife or cutting tool
- paper towel
- bone folder
Enjoy!

Think I would call these trees, not bells. Very cute though and like that you can store flat. Currently store my paper snowflake ornaments stacked in Chinese soup containers. Great video.
