Portland, Oregon CZT Sara Uram joins us today with her Scallamp tangle pattern and it’s her first on the site.
Sara introduces herself,
I was introduced to Zentangle in 2011 and fell in love with the process and the ability to create art while improving myself mentally, emotionally, and even physically.
I knew almost immediately that I wanted to teach this to others and finally reached my goal when I attended CZT 18 in April 2015.
Scallamp was the subject of another recent weekly Zentangle® challenge from CZT Laura Harms.
Sara illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing Scallamp here on her blog where she includes several Zentangle tiles with examples and a video demonstrating it.
Update July 2024: the link to Sara’s blog is no longer working so until it’s repaired here for your convenience are her original steps.
Here’s Sara’s video demonstration:
As you enjoy any of the tangles on the site, please do leave a comment of thanks and encouragement to show the artists you appreciate them for sharing their creativity to inspire yours.
