How to draw C-SIX

Zentangle pattern: C-six. Image © Linda Farmer and TanglePatterns.com. All rights reserved.C-Six is another lovely tangle from Taiwan CZT Damy Teng.

Damy shares her inspiration for her C-Six tangle …

[On a recent] weekend I went  to southernmost tip of Taiwan (Eluanbi) with SHING-YA, riding a motorcycle. We enjoy together the Taiwan Strait sea waves hit the shore, so I drew this pattern.

Damy shares this gorgeous photo she took at Cape Eluanbi with her iPhone, click on the image for the full size photo. I can almost hear the roar of the waves and smell the salty sea air. It definitely does not make me sea sick!

Damy illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing C-Six below and her Zentangle® tile shows several ways to vary C-Six. I used one of Damy’s variations for my example.

Damy, I really like this tangle. It reminds me of a blustery windy day on the coast here in Northern California. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. I’ve already used it in a ZIA. Very much fun to use.

Damy, where had this been all my life ? Tried several other tangles, say wave-ish , but this beats them all in fluctuation, feel, fun and last but not least simplicity. Thanks a million

Originally from San Diego, CA, I truly miss the ocean. This is a little reminder of the beach days. Love your pattern! Thank you for sharing.
