Tangle Refresher 83

Tangle Refresher! To those of you who are new to Zentangle® and TanglePatterns.com, a very warm Welcome! Consider yourself hugged 🙂

Please feel free to join in the community by posting a comment, even if it’s just to say “Hi!”, tell us where you’re from and introduce yourself, we’re glad to have you aboard.

There is a lot of information on the site and finding your way around can be a little overwhelming. But here are some suggestions to get going. You can learn a great deal by exploring the pages on the main menu bar at the very top of every page.

I recommend beginning with HOW TO USE THIS SITE, located on the ABOUT menu. This page suggests how to get started with Zentangle and goes on to explain how the site is organized. Here is a look at the ABOUT tab and its sub-pages:

The ABOUT menu is located at the top left of every page on the site.

The ABOUT menu is located at the top left of every page on the site.

Once you have explored the pages along the main menu bar if you have any questions, you can reach me through the CONTACT LINDA page. You can also post questions via the comments section for questions relevant to that page. I encourage you to read the FAQs page because many questions I receive are answered there.

Also located along the top menu bar is a page called SUBMIT YOUR PATTERNS, with everything you need to know about submitting patterns for consideration including instructions on how to scan them.

At the far right end of the main menu bar is the link to my STORE where you can get your Zentangle supplies and my eBooks. Your purchases help fund the growth and sustainability of this free resource and are most appreciated. Another way to support the site is via the SUPPORT TANGLEPATTERNS page which also explains just what’s involved in keeping the site going.

Every other Friday, I put together this Tangle Refresher and today is next up. Frequently tanglers use the Refresher patterns as a “random tangle selector” to choose tangles for their tile of the day. After the chart of tangles below, I also suggest links from the past to check out and these change with each Refresher. Even if you’ve seen them before, sometimes it’s nice to have a review to refresh your creative juices.

And now, here is my introduction to the Tangle Refreshers.

The Tangle Refresher series, aka Buried Treasure, spotlights hidden tangle gems from the past. It can remind you of patterns you might not have used for a while or introduce you to patterns you haven’t come across yet.

Here are five more tangle pattern gems and a Tangle Refresher from a year (or two) ago for your tangling pleasure. Remember to check out the “More Good Stuff” links below too. Zenful tangling!

BTW as you visit these tangles please Tweet or “like” them on Facebook so they get shared with a wider audience. Sharing links are on the left side of each pattern’s page. Thanks!
