I know you’ve been eagerly waiting for it and I’m so pleased and excited to announce that the 2014 Edition of my TanglePatterns.com TANGLE GUIDE is now available for instant download in the Store!
This THIRD Edition of the Guide is revised and updated and integrates all of the tangles on the site from May 2010 through December 31st, 2013. I’ve added a couple of new features too.
As you may recognize, CZT Michele Beauchamp has once again added her graceful touch to the cover of this year’s Edition and it is simply beautiful. Michele has selected many of the tangles that appeared on the site during 2013 and featured them in this edition’s Zentangle-inspired cover art.
This year’s TanglePatterns.com TANGLE GUIDE has grown to a 31-page PDF resource with all of the pattern the images hot-linked to their post on this site. This year to accommodate those who asked for an addendum instead of the whole guide, to keep things simple I added a new page to the guide with a list of all the 130+ new tangles added to the “Tangle Hall of Fame” during 2013. (There is no addendum.)
Another new feature is a section suggesting several fun ways to use the TANGLE GUIDE to help you choose tangles. This includes instructions on how to use the new RANDOM TANGLE SELECTOR I’ve added to the left sidebar of the site just under my copyright notice — it looks like this screen capture on the right. The selector works with the TANGLE GUIDE. (You can also use it to choose random Strings.)
To get your copy of the 2014 Guide, click the cover image above or go to the top menu bar on any page on the site and select the STORE > EBOOKS page. Do take time to read the important information at the top of that page before you purchase the Guide. There are several eBooks on that page so PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME AND CHOOSE CAREFULLY!!
The entire download process is automated — when your transaction is successfully completed your browser will be redirected to another page containing your personalized download link. Be sure to SAVE the document to your computer before you attempt to open it!
If your browser fails to open another page, your download link is also sent to the email address you used in PayPal. If you use the email address of a “significant other”, remember to let them know you are expecting a confirming email so they don’t delete it by mistake.
You do not have to open an account to use PayPal: after you click the cart button and update your cart, scroll down to the bottom of the PayPal page and look for the “Don’t have a PayPal account” section. You can use any credit or debit card. If you choose to pay with an e-check your download link will be emailed to you in 3-5 days when your check clears.

A word about the alphabetic sorting of the tangles for those who are going to ask, especially the librarians and editors in the community. To simplify the sorting task I used Microsoft Word and its criteria for alphabetical sorting differs from that of other programs. (And from the rules I learned.) But I went with Word as the path of least resistance and if you have quibbles with its sort order I invite you to take it up with Microsoft!

Hello Linda, I have just downloaded my copy of your 2014 TanglePatterns guide. I used my 2013 copy a lot and kept it on the desktop of my computer. It’s an easy to use the guide and I love the way one click and you get the step outs!! Brilliant.
Just to say, Linda, that you are a Zentangle ANGEL!! Being far away from all the ‘live’ action, your website has become an absolute essential for me as reference and inspiration. Thank you for all the hard work you put in, it is very, very much appreciated.

Every time i get an reply that it wasn’ t possible to connect my VISA with PayPal.

Please go to the PayPal.com home page and scroll down to the bottom for the link to their CONTACT page – they have a toll-free number you can call and they are always very helpful. They will help you figure out why your card isn’t working and that is the best way to pay for and receive the eBook file.
