In tune with it soon becoming Spring for our friends down under, this week I’ve undertaken a major Spring clean in my “office”.
The way I decided to approach it was to pull everything out of desk drawers and book shelves and from boxes in the closet so I can see what’s what. I think that might have been a boo boo. Now I’m camped in the middle of stacks of “stuff” and files and books and feeling overwhelmed by it all.
The goal of downsizing by cleaning out unnecessary things and organizing everything else in a better way is a worthy one. Now, if I can only find the starting point to putting all this back together again. Right now my feng shui — (pronounced “fung shway”) a Chinese philosophical system of harmonizing the human existence with the surrounding environment — is not feeling very harmonious. So while contemplating how to untangle this self-made tsunami, I shall put the kettle on and take a little time out for Zentangle® … Have a great Spring/Fall weekend, y’all!

HI Linda, I have been meaning to send some sort of message for some time. Your website – to which I was introduced only a few months ago by “friends” who have know about Zentangle for some time and it has given me so much. I have for years been trying to work out how to express my underlying artistic drive and everything I have tried just hasn’t been right for me. This is and I am loving it. I just so aligned with your comments regarding your Spring Clean as you look towards Fall ( we have our son living in Iowa) especially your “self made Tsunami” – I find myself in that state so often.
