Zanella is a very striking tangle pattern created by Sandra Strait.
I particularly like how the edges of the repeat pattern appear beveled. And that it’s drawn on a grid, there’s just something about that structure that appeals to me.

My tangles always look so beautiful when you do them. I think that is one of the greatest joys I get from sharing my patterns–seeing the fantastic job others do with them. I’m always amazed at how different they often look as each artist brings their own unique perspective to the mix.
Thanks so much, Sandra. I too find it really fascinating to see how a pattern gets interpreted by each artist when we’re all given the same basic instructions and tools. But all with unique perspectives, as you point out.
Dear Linda, i am so happy with de GUIDE 2013!!!! My Son gave It me on my 75th birthday. I like these kinds of drawing. So beautiful and so joyful to do. Many hours each day i am working with these artistics penpaintings. Which is possibel for anyone everywhere in the world. You are so helpful for us , your happy tangling friends.
