How to draw YINLINX

Zentangle pattern: YinLinxThe delicate tangle pattern YinLinx was created by soon-to-be CZT®, Mary Masi from Sarasota here in Florida. I asked Mary to tell us a little about herself and she writes, “I am an Online Instructional Designer and Nia Technique Instructor. I was introduced to Zentangle in October of 2010. I have developed a deep connection and plan to complete my CZT training in February 2011.”

Mary illustrates how to draw YinLinx here and shows several variations of her tangle pattern on that page. YinLinx is great to use along strings or as a border. The nice thing about “string” patterns for me is that I like having that pencil “baseline” to guide placement of the strokes.

This is the first of Mary’s patterns on TanglePatterns, so check the tag marym in the future for more. And thanks Mary, for choosing TanglePatterns to debut your pattern!
