How to draw XYP

Zentangle pattern: XYP (zip)

XYP ( pronounced “zip”) is a great tangle pattern for borders as well as filling spaces within your strings. It comes, we learn from the newsletter, from a border seen on paper currency. Variants are many including all kinds of shading and filling options, as well as different shapes along the pattern. Mine kinda goes uphill!

XYP is an original Zentangle® pattern designed by Maria Thomas. The link to her illustrated instructions for this pattern is here.

And CZT® Vicki Murray demonstrates several great XYP variations, here.

Check out the tag: zentangle for more official Zentangle® patterns here on tanglepatterns.com.
