How to draw LOVE

Texas CZT Suzanne McNeill’s Love tangle is the second on the site with this name. The first is CZT Angie Gittles’ Love tangle and it’s quite different and a fun and clever one too so be sure to check it out.

Suzanne’s Love tangle comes from her 2012 booklet from her Design Originals series, Zentangle 8 – Monograms + Alphabets. From the introduction:

“Letters are the perfect way to personalize a greeting card, stationery, or a memorable gift. Turn mundane mail into envelopes that promise something really special. Send special tangled thank-you notes and enclosure cards for showers, weddings, and baby announcements. Suzanne’s Love tangle could not be simpler and the Printemps-like spiral detail adds a pretty touch. This Love can be embellished in as many ways as your imagination can dream up including adding ZIA color and/or shine.

Fox Chapel Publishing purchased Suzanne’s Design Originals company and the copyright ownership some time ago and both Suzanne and Fox Publishing have graciously given me permission to add her steps to TanglePatterns.

Big thanks for your heart tangles

I want to give a special thanks to those of you who submitted their heart tangles. We’ll be taking a break from the genre for a little while but I’ll continue to sprinkle them in here and there throughout the year so please keep sending them in.

BTW, sending me any seasonal/occasion tangles several weeks in advance of the relevant date is a huge help, it give me plenty of time to plan.
