It’s so good to see you again for another fun week of exploring some creative new tangles.
Our easy Monday tangle is Dano and it’s from Spanish CZT Yolanda López Segura.
Dano is Yolanda’s second on the site, some time ago we checked out her Sibli tangle.
Yolanda explains how she named this one,
D-A-N-O are my husband’s initials.
It is an easy and fun tangle with a touch of drama. I hope you like it.
Yolanda illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing Dano below and she demonstrates it in a simple monotangle that has that “touch of drama” she refers to.

What an interesting tangle! I did it on a straight line, then on a wavy line. I am going to try it on a Zendala tile1 I’m sure it will be an eye catching element! Thank you for sharing!
I was in the hospital helping to care for my daughter who was admitted to the hospital for an infection after her first Chemo treatment. I found Zentangle a quiet, relaxing way to pass the time while Carrie slept. I was even able to tell one of the nurses about Zentangle. Megan showed interest in some of the designs I was drawing. Before I left, I was blessed to be able to share a Zendala tile that I have been carrying around for several months. I wrote the info for Zentangle.com on the back for her to find out more about it. I am blessed by the many kindred spirits that I find through Zentangle! May the Lord bless your day!
