Happy Friday! Where did the week go??
Today’s sweet and curvy Adry tangle is from Russian tangler Elena Babayants and it’s her second on the site. Any was Elena’s first curvy tangle shared with us.
Elena shares that in honor of the birth of her son Adrian on March 3rd she has named her tangle Adry,
I think you will love it as much as I do.
After all, this pattern is so free, light, does not require special accuracy, lively and agile. The same as my son.
I love beautiful coincidences. They are not random.
Adry reminds me of the Zentangle®-original Molygon, I guess we could say they share DNA?
Elena illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing Adry below and includes two lovely tiles featuring her tangle together with several familiar Zentangle®-original tangles.
In this short video Elena demonstrates how easy it is to tangle and shade Adry.

Happy Passover to all our Jewish tangling friends!
The festival of Passover begins tomorrow tonight at sunset. “The Jewish people celebrate Passover as a commemoration of their liberation by God from slavery in Egypt and their freedom as a nation under the leadership of Moses.”

Wow. I really like the look of this. I instantly know it will be relaxing to tangle and versatile and have great impact when shaded. As well as Molygon it reminds me of Morf which I also love! Thanks Elena!
The tangle you want to draw and draw and draw again …Amazing!
Love it! I will surely try it soon. Thank you for sharing it Elena!
Elena, congratulations on the birth of your son!!! How delightful that you have named a tangle after him. 🙂 And a lovely tangle it is! Simple, flowing, easy to draw. Thank you!

This is my new favorite tangle! I love the rough quality of the shapes and the overlapping possibilities. For someone with shaking hands, when I find a wonderful forgiving pattern like this, I want to celebrate! Congratulations on the birth of Adrian!
