This weekend in North America we “Spring” our clocks forward for Daylight Saving Time, soon our actual Spring follows! Longer days, nature blooming, birds singing — what can be better …
Our lovely curvy Friday tangle, So Wat, comes from NY CZT Susan Pundt who shared her Trubine tangle with us not so long ago.
Susan tells us about her tangle and its name,
So Wat is easy and simple. I have trouble with my hands and easy-to-draw is a plus for me.
Done with only S curves, Orbs, and auras. SO WAT looks “fancy” and is good singly, in groups, in the round, and as a line or border.
The name came about because of the strokes used (S and O, With Auras, Too.) This can be varied easily, too.
The “trick”, if there is one, is to be sure that the S’s are long and skinny and have curly ends.
Susan illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing So Wat below.
As you enjoy any of the tangles on the site, please leave a comment of thanks and encouragement to show the artists you appreciate them for sharing their creativity to inspire yours. Your thanks helps motivate them to continue to share!

I like this pretty tangle very much, well done Susan!
Susan what a beautiful tangle! I love S curve tangles. It will be so fun playing with this one.
This is a great tangle, thank you, Susan. I’m looking forward to using it a lot.
Thanks for showing my pattern, Linda. …and thanks, Ria and Deb.
I see “eyes” in this tangle! I love the curly tangles too. Thank you for sharing.
thank you
So pretty and uses my initial S too. Will be a fun one to play with. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you.
Susan I really like your So Wat. Thank you for sharing. I am going to work on this today.
Linda, thank you so much for your website and your hard work now, especially. I am “hermitizing” myself as much as possible (my word). I am trying so hard to keep my husband and myself healthy. I plan on doing some sewing and tangling. Very good things to keep one busy. Hope you and yours can stay safe as well as all of us.
Keep the good stuff coming!
Thank you, Nancy. I am definitely nesting and wish my at-risk hubby would dothe same. No local cases as of today. He says he will mask-and-glove up when the epidemic hits here/
