How to draw EARJOOL

Earjool is our easy Monday tangle from California CZT Katy Kehoe.

Katy recently shared her Mosi and Mositoo tangles with us.

With Spring just around the corner, today we present: Earjool. A tangleation of the Zentangle®-original Printemps, Earjool is a fun way to use Printemps in the form of a single motif.

You can play with it in a free-form fashion, varying its scale and placement, and it also looks good repeated in a regular grid-style placement with or without the lines and/or spaces between. The colorists in the crowd will also have fun with Earjool.

Katy writes that Earjool was inspired by a pair of earrings,

I gravitate to tangles that are not too complicated so I can truly relax and lose myself in the tangling.  

I love spirals and can hardly do a tile without at least one spiral somewhere.
