TanglePatterns.com TANGLE GUIDE, 2016 Edition is here!

TanglePatterns-TANGLE-GUIDE, 2016 Edition is now available in the STORE!It’s here!!

I’m so pleased to let you know that the 2016 Edition of my TanglePatterns.com TANGLE GUIDE is now available for instant download in the Store!

This 5th Edition of the Guide is revised and updated and integrates all of the tangles on the site from May 2010 through December 31st, 2015.

Australian CZT Michele Beauchamp has once again added her beautiful touch to the cover of this year’s Edition. Michele has selected many of the tangles that appeared on the site during 2015 and featured them in this edition’s Zentangle-inspired cover art. There’s a bonus page of Michele’s Zentangle-inspired artistry included inside too.

In addition, with her gracious permission this year’s edition contains a reprint of CZT Sandy Hunter‘s excellent article, A post with no pictures. Perfect to have this handy as a reference for you when you need it.

This year’s TanglePatterns.com TANGLE GUIDE has grown to a 44-page PDF resource with all of the tangle images hot-linked to their post on this site. The file is 20 MB in size, so be sure to allow sufficient time to download.

The BOOK REVIEWS page for this year’s Guide has also been updated with more information and a sample page.

To get your copy, click the cover image above or go to the top menu bar on any page on the site and select the STORE > EBOOKS page. Do take time to read the important information at the top of that page before you purchase the Guide. There are several eBooks available now so CHOOSE CAREFULLY AND DOUBLE CHECK YOUR CART! Once an eBook has been downloaded, it will not be refunded.

The instant your transaction is completed you’ll receive a link to download your copy! The entire eBook download process is automated (except for gifts, see below)  — when your transaction is completed your browser will be redirected to another page containing your personalized download link. The link is time-sensitive so be sure to SAVE the document to your computer ASAP and allow it to download completely before you attempt to open or print it.

If your browser fails to open another page, your download link is also sent to the email address you used in PayPal. If you use the email address of a “significant other”, remember to let them know you are expecting an email containing your download link so they don’t delete the email by mistake. 🙁

You do not have to open an account to use PayPal: after you click the cart button and update your cart, scroll down to the bottom of the PayPal page and look for the “Don’t have a PayPal account” section. You can use any credit or debit card. If you choose to pay with an e-check, your download link will be emailed to you in 3-5 days when your check clears.

Note: If you prefer to order by mail, you can send a check or money order (US$ money order if you are from outside the USA) with your email address PRINTED CLEARLY to: Linda Farmer, TanglePatterns.com, PO Box 880386, Port St Lucie FL 34988. When your payment is received I will email you an eBook download link.

Giving Guides as Gifts

If you’d like to give the gift of any TanglePatterns eBook guides to someone special, there is a separate page set up for gift orders: STORE > HOW TO GIVE TANGLEPATTERNS EBOOKS AS GIFTS. Each gift is customized for your recipient and is processed by hand. There’s more information about this on the gift page. Please do not use the regular eBooks ordering page when ordering guides for gifts.

Thanks, everyone! Creating my TANGLE GUIDE is a labor of love for me and it is always a treat to review all the great new tangles added in 2015, as well as revisiting the “oldies”. I hope you enjoy using this handy resource and will encourage your tangling friends to get their own copy.

Remember that if you want to print out a copy of the guide for your reference, print a few pages at a time so the document doesn’t overwhelm your printer’s memory (and quit).

And as always, your feedback, comments and suggestions are always most welcome.

Cheers and happy tangling!

Keep your file in a safe place on your computer

And it wouldn’t hurt to back it up too. Due to the alarming frequency of requests to replace lost files and the personal time involved in handling these requests, lost files will not be replaced free. A replacement can be ordered and downloaded from the STORE > EBOOKS page.

How wonderful! I love having the guide so handy (I printed it and installed it in my Zentangle notebook). It makes it much easier to locate the tangles I want to learn and practice those I don’t use much. Thank you, Thank you.

    Hello Linda,

Thank you for your beautiful work on this site. I hope to work Zentangle into my life every day, if only for a bit. I feel that it really is so fun to explore and be that open to whatever happens. Fun to see what that looks like.

Hey, do you ever start some ZIA, and something comes up that causes you to have to put it down for the day. Do you ever marvel at how different that piece might come out just because you’re not finishing it in this sitting… “this now”… but waiting and finishing it later in “another now”? Kind of like how you never step into the same river twice?

Anyway, my husband enjoys writing stories and I wonder the same thing about the twists and turns of his storylines and how they may have been influenced by the moments that they’re conceived in.

A difference is that he has a particular story to tell. I can see that the process of doing a true Zentangle might be very different. It’s more like cloud-building. I have these variables, pen, pencil, passage of time, and basic strokes and patterns. They combine in different amounts and are influenced by many unseen winds and forces and somehow – amazingly – come out as a totally unique creation. And sometimes they even disappear! I saw one float into a book as a bookmark. Not sure where the others slipped off to…
