In this 12-minute video CZT® Suzanne McNeill creates a litter bag design to enter in the (now-closed) Don’t Mess With Texas anti-litter campaign.
Suzanne takes us through her design process for a poster and shows how she modifies her drawings to create a Barbed Wire tangle with variations.
Suzanne also suggests a good tip on how to keep acrylic paint from getting into a paint brush ferrule.

I REALLY want to watch this video but this very irritating guitar music keeps playing so loudly that I can’t hear what she’s saying! Is there any way to turn off that darned thing?
It might be fine if it were very, very soft in the background, but it’s NOT.
HELP??? I really want to see her design process – she’s delightful. Thanks so much.
Oh I love what you did it’s perfect!! Thanks for sharing your video and new tangles! 🙂
Really enjoyed watching your ‘Litter Bag Design’ process using the barbed wire plus the other tips you gave on the video.
Thanks,
Wendy R.
What a wonderful demonstration. I now have so many Zentangle ideas!! Thank you Suzanne!
Who would have thought there were so many barbed wire patterns! Great idea. Now you have me thinking. Thanks
Those are cute tangles, Suzanne. Will they appear in the Zentangle 5 book? I’m collecting all of your books.

Great video! And some interesting history on barbed wire too. Thank you for sharing and I hope you post the outcome of the contest…good luck, your poster is fantastic.
That was a beautiful creative idea Suzanne.
For the lady with the sound problem, just turn it down.
Suzanne, what a pleasure watching your video. I found the process interesting and the designs … well I didn’t think you could have so many on one hand. Your advice on looking after brushes was great and
fun to watch as you showed such confidence painting Texas red
Loved your video. Good Luck, I hope you win!
Hi Mary, FYI this video is from August 2011.
Loved seeing Suzanne McNeill designing her “Don’t Mess With Texas” litterbag. As an honorary Texan, I enjoyed her accent and how she used the colors and barbed wire patterns. Thanks for sharing this with us, Linda.
