Today’s tangle pattern Geos comes from California tangler Ronnie Szczerba who recently shared Loopy with us.
“I called it Geos because it contains a geometric design.”
Although it might appear to be based on a grid, in this tangle base lines and small orbs (or dots, your choice) guide the placement of the rice shaped elements and connecting lines for Geos.
Here is Ronnie’s illustration of the steps for drawing Geos and her example Zentangle® featuring her tangle. Enjoy!

sharon
Thanks Sharon. My pleasure to share. My thanks to Linda also, for posting this tangle. 🙂
That looks absolutely fantastic will definitely be having a go. Thanks very much for showing. Cheers Glenys
Thanks Glenys. So glad you like it. : )
Oh Ronnie! This is so funny. Just last week I saw a 6 sided possobility, but I couldn’t find a way to keep it even reasonably straight. It looked like someone had squashed a piece of chicken wire! I know Zentangle is not intended to be perfect, but consistsncy is needed for a geometric pattern. Thank you for providing me with just the background Tangle I needed to finish a ZIA that I felt needed just a little something “more”.
Thanks Tracy. This tangle is the result on an accident as most tangles can be. So glad you liked it.
