How to draw STAR MAP

Zentangle pattern: Star MapStar Map, by publisher, author and CZT® Suzanne McNeill, is a simple and handy tangle pattern to fill a Zentangle section quickly and easily.

Star Map is one of the patterns included in Suzanne’s Zentangle 6 booklet focusing on using stencils and cards in Zentangle-inspired craft projects. Suzanne’s Zentangle® titles cover a wide range of crafts including scrapbooks, rubber stamps, jewelry, zendalas, stencils, and monograms and alphabets – and more are in the works. Each booklet contains projects with materials lists and step-by-step instructions on how to complete them.

Star Map is one of those easy tangles that don’t really need illustrated steps. And it is also pretty flexible because you can choose curvy lines instead of straight ones and instead of the dot you can change up the shape to orbs, squares, triangles, or diamonds and so on. You can use your imagination with shading and auras and other tangle enhancements too. It’s a great tangle to start the week – have fun exploring what you can do with this simple tangle pattern!

Suzanne illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing Star Map here on her blog.
