How to draw 2-N-5

Zentangle pattern: 2-n-5The tangle pattern 2-n-5 is from Pennsylvania CZT® Anita Roby-Lavery. It adds a new category of numerical pattern names to TanglePatterns.

2-n-5 was inspired, Anita tells us, by a pattern on an ancient Korean burial urn. “My interest in the Far East goes back to my teen years which were spent in Korea. [And we won't say how long ago that was!]“

This tangle pattern is easiest to do if you start with a lightly penciled grid which you can erase when you’re done. I added a bit of shading (attempting to disguise my tea-influenced jiggly lines).

Here are Anita’s own step-by-step instructions and handwritten tips for drawing her tangle, 2-n-5
