How to draw FRILLEE

Zentangle pattern: FrilleeFrillee is one of Livia Chua’s tangle patterns and she renders it with her usual flair and precision. I experimented a little using varying size “waves” of the base line and it looks good either with loops of the same size or with irregular sizes.

Livia writes, “Frillee is a simple pattern. It looks frilly… or maybe it looks like a string of tadpole eggs! It can be used as a string, too. ^_^” . Livia is known on flickr as skinnystraycat.

Livia illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing Frillee, here.
