How to draw SHARD

Zentangle pattern: ShardShard is a tangle pattern created by CZT® Carole Ohl.

Carole writes, “I just can’t stop connecting “v”s when I find them. There is something very fun about hooking the chevron points together, especially when they don’t line up exactly. The line sort of dances back and forth, with each ‘shard’ having its own little personality.”

Shard makes a great border or filler and is one of those patterns that gains a lot of dimension with a little shading.

Carole shows Shard as the focal point of a cool Zentangle®, here, and illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing Shard, here.
