How to draw PUF

Zentangle pattern: PufCreated by CZT® Carole Ohl, Puf is an amazing Zentangle pattern to draw.

When you first look at Carole’s steps for drawing Puf where she goes from Step 3 to Step 4 you think to yourself (at least I did), “this can’t be right, I must have missed something.” But lo and behold, follow the steps and you’ll end up with this delightful tangle pattern.

Carole demonstrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing Puf, here. On the same page, Carole shows it in a lovely “All Puf” example. I bet you’ll add this one to your collection!

Update 8/31/10:  Carole posted two more great examples of Puf, here.

Check out the tag: caroleo for more of Carole’s patterns on TanglePatterns.com.

Linda, thank you so much for all you do to keep us up to date on the latest patterns. I have a bulging pattern book, thanks to you. Zentangle has literally saved my life, as it has given me a focus during a rough time in my life. And you have enriched my practice of this art form so very much. I appreciate so much your enthusiasm and your dedication. Just wanted you to know.

I would tag this Greek key even though it doesn’t look like it at all. When I went through the steps I really became fascinated with hoe the Greek key pattern changes as you go through the steps

I am sooo frustrated! I have been working on this for a couple of hours. The only way I can make it look like the finished product is to not follow the steps. I think it is beautiful

Linda, Thank you so much for all your work! I got your download and use it constantly. I have a question on PUF. I am so frustrated. i love this pattern but cannot get it to do the long flowing look where several different size patterns are put together. I can’t get the triangle shape to work. Help!
