How to draw WARANGAIE

Zentangle pattern: WARANGIEWarangaie is a tangle pattern from the innovative mind and pen of Sandra Strait (aka Molossus). Another cool grid-based pattern that’s simple to draw and an effective filler. I didn’t do any shading here, but I think it would add interesting effects.

Check out Sandra’s step-by-steps for drawing her pattern Warangaie, here.

Sandra comes up with her unusual pattern names by using the captcha security names when she logs in to comment on other people’s blogs. Expect the unexpected!

Check out the tag: sandras for more of Sandra’s patterns on TanglePatterns.com.

Okay, I’ve got a really good find. I like to frame my works of Zentangle art in nice frames. But I could never find one that was 3.5 X 3.5 square, for the opening. Michael’s Craft Stores carries a unfinished wooden frame with a 3.5 Square opening with 12R inside corners and the outer dims are 7.875 Sq. with .25R outside corners X .5 Thk. They only cost $1.00 each. They have a dowel to insert into the base if you would like to stand them instead of hanging them. Only downside, there is no glass to cover the artwork.
