How to draw K’LING

Happy Monday, y’all!

German tangler Indrani Novello shares her fun ribbon-style K’ling tangle with us today.

Last month we explored Indrani’s Printen tangle and K’ling was another from that same time. While both were inspired by the Christmas season, neither are what you’d consider seasonal tangles. And both are easy to tangle and fun to embellish.

In this tile Indrani includes both of her tangles with some Fescu tendrils, a couple of Tripoli triangles and some little Ahh explosions:

She writes,

“K’ling” was inspired by the little golden bell my Lindt chocolate Father Christmas was wearing as a belt.

It also refers to a German Christmas song describing the sound of little bells called “Kling, Glöckchen, kling!”

Indrani illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing K’ling below where she includes a tile with the Zentangle®-original Zander together with K’ling variations.
