German CZT Nadine Roller shares her sweet Happy tangle with us today. Recently we enjoyed exploring her Saatin tangle.
Over these last wonderful TanglePatterns years I’ve learned it’s not totally unusual to receive similar tangle submissions within a few days of each other.
What is unusual is to receive two entirely different tangles with the same name within days of each other. Well, it’s the summer time and I guess everyone is feeling … Happy! 🙂
Nadine has the advantage of chronology, hers came first. She writes,
recently i went to the wedding of my uncle and i wanted to tangle a lovely wedding card for them.
While testing came this fluffy summery pattern i called HAPPY into being 🙂
Happy begins with the Zentangle®-original Ahh for the centers and then it simply grows outward with “low profile” m-shapes.
Nadine illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing Happy here on her blog. Once Nadine made her wedding card, she went on a roll and created birthday cards, a sticker, and a whole range of tiles for you to enjoy in a variety of Happy configurations.
As you enjoy any of the tangles on the site, please leave a comment of thanks and encouragement to show the artists you appreciate them for sharing their creativity to inspire yours. Your comment helps motivate them to continue to share!

REMINDER: please remember to check out your invitation on Jenny Perruzzi’s 2nd Annual TanglePatterns Fundraiser where you can purchase fabulous Swarovski Touchstone Crystal jewelry and support TanglePatterns at the same time. Jenny’s fundraiser runs through Friday, June 28th at 11:59 pm.
Have a very Happy weekend and we’ll see you again on Monday.

Ohhh !! Thank you dear Linda !!! To see „Happy“ here makes me really happy !
I just spent some time drawing this “Happy” little tangle, and it’s just what I needed after a challenging week–something soft and easy, and turns out very charming and lacy. I particularly like that it can be colored in so many ways because I do love color!
Thanh you dear Joyce! Your description sounds so good! Soft and easy, charming and lacy 🙂 ! I wish you a relaxing weekend after your challenging week! Best wishes from Cologne, Nadine
Thanks for Happy (Birthday) as this came on my BD. So made me happy for a fun flowery tangle to do today as I celebrate another year around the sun.
