Today is TanglePatterns 9th Tangleversary!

TanglePatterns is 9 today! Is it a birthday? Is it an anniversary? Both, it’s a Tangleversary!

Today, tucked in between May Day and Cinco de Mayo celebrations, TanglePatterns.com celebrates NINE wonderful years of sharing ZentangleĀ® learning, creativity, fun and inspiration with you.

Nine years. For those who are counting that’s 470 weeks (3,290 days) … almost a decade of my life! OMGosh.

Over the past 470 weeks weā€™ve enjoyed hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of tangles, dozens and dozens of wonderful tutorials, tons of creative inspiration, the world of tanglers sharing their expertise and experience and their heartfelt stories. Friendships have been made around the globe. Itā€™s a beautiful thing this Zentangle community of ours.

Thanks so much to each and every one of you who help keep TanglePatterns going with your financial and emotional support.

Thanks too for your treasured notes, cards, letters, emails, and comments of encouragement.

Immeasurable gratitude to Rick and Maria for this magical ZentangleĀ® art form that made this wonderful community possible.

Thanks to all my CZT colleagues for sharing their enthusiasm with tanglers all over the world. (And to CZT Sandy Hunter for coming up with Tangleversary!)

And a very special thanks to all the artists who share their tangles with us and inspire our creativity.

Iā€™ve said in the past and itā€™s worth repeating, itā€™s truly my honor to keep you tangled ā€¦ er ā€¦ tangling!

As Obi-Wan Kenobi might say, ā€œMay the 4th be with you!ā€
