Here’s another version of an interesting puffy tangle, Pop’t is from Vermont CZT Sadelle Wiltshire.
Like all of us, Sadelle loves finding patterns anywhere she can. Of course the real fun and challenge is finding real tangles amongst the many patterns we observe around us.
This one’s origins are from a textile pattern and she deconstructed it so it could be drawn as a tangle.
“It starts with an inverted Y shape, then you can connect the mid sections of the branches with two concave strokes that form a point in between each branch. It helps to turn your work as you go around. Then connect the tops of the branches with two convex strokes or bumps,” she writes.
Sadelle illustrates the steps for drawing Pop’t here on her blog where she also suggests several ideas for ways to vary this fun pattern. Update February 2022: Sadelle’s website doesn’t appear to be accessible and I have contacted her about this. Until Sadelle has the issue resolved, here are her steps for tangling Pop’t.

What a fun and lovely tangle. I had to do the step outs right away. I also did a Zentangle with the Pop-T using Angel Fish and Zinger..very simplistic, but striking. Thanks Sadelle
I really like this new tangle. It looks like a lot of fun! I will continue to play with it. TFS.
This pattern is fun and beautiful!
