We’ve had a few “intense” tangles lately so I thought a simple border tangle pattern would be good to play with today and this one came to mind. Easy as pie, 3 steps and you’re done!
Blink is another tangle from West Virginia’s Beth Snoderly who has shared quite a few with us and several of them have appeared recently on the site. She’s also got a string coming up on Saturday, so stay tuned for that one.
Beth writes “This is my version of a linked chain. I was playing with diamonds and trying to connect them with parentheses.”
In Beth’s steps for Blink below she begins with a series of diamonds and links them with the parentheses. But you could also start with the rice shapes in the middle created by those parentheses and add the diamond shapes to those. In any case Beth also shows us several ways to vary Blink and I think you’ll find lots of places to use this one.
Bonus! Here in her completed Zentangle® Beth shows a way you can also use Blink to produce a nice lattice-type overall pattern.
Check out the tag beths for more of Beth’s patterns on TanglePatterns.com.
