How to draw MAYLEA

The lovely Maylea tangle is by Simone Bischoff, and it’s her second tangle pattern on the site.

Using Google Translate for the German-to-English version of her blog, Simone tells us Maylea means wild flower. It’s been a floral tangles week here on TanglePatterns.

There are quite a few tangles that begin with basic Cadent-like “orbs” and curved lines and although Maylea is shown as a border in Simone’s steps, I experimented with it here as an all-over tangle. To have enough room for the double curved connecting lines, be sure to space your starting circles far enough apart.
