For some reason I found this pattern requires more concentration than it first appears. Makes a striking filler and a cool border too.

Beautiful! This reminds me of hairpin lace 🙂
When I first tried this over a year ago, I was unhappy with my attempts. The spacing wasn’t right. I just now tried again, but decided to do it differently. This works wonderfully for me! 1. Make your wavy lines. 2. Draw vertical line from top crest to the crest beneath it. 3. Draw vertical lines from trough to trough beneath it. 3. Connect the verticals with diagonals and then fill in the remaining creases of the fans.
