Stacks is a tangle pattern created by CZT® Suzanne McNeill from her Zentangle 2 booklet.
The alternating rows of “rice” shapes can be varied by changing the size of the “rice”, filling either the background or the ovals with solid color and/or shading.
Suzanne shows us how to draw Stacks here. UPDATE: Early in the Summer of 2014 Suzanne McNeill’s blog was removed and all the posts and images were lost, so this link no longer works.
Her site is being reconstructed as much as possible and until it’s available again, many of her patterns like Stacks can quite easily be figured out. Have fun challenging your Zentangle® deconstructing abilities!

This craft is to hard for me – ( don’t have a crafty bone in my body) – but still looking for some kind of simple as simple can be not only for me but for a family member that has a disabilty & needs something to do that is not to costly. Do you have some basic patterns maybe a 6 year old could do? Thanks, Joyce
