Happy Monday and belated Father’s Day wishes to all our tangling (and non) Dads out there.
This week and next Zentangle® teacher certification seminars CZT28 and CZT29 are taking place in Providence RI. Another two hundred-or-so newly minted CZTs will be joining the worldwide community soon!
UK tangler Sarah Fowler’s Beebug tangle is an easy Monday tangle, and it’s her second on the site.
Sarah writes,
This is a pattern I’ve had around for a while. The name came up from a CZT who thought it looked like lots of baby buggys, hence beebug!
Beebug can be drawn straight as well as curvy and the balls can be filled with other tangles …
Sarah illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing Beebug below with a ZIA including Jem Miller’s Flec.
Sarah’s ZIA (Zentangle-inspired Art) example including Beebug and her Strutz tangle:
As you enjoy any of the tangles on the site, please do leave a comment of thanks and encouragement to show the artists you appreciate them for sharing their creativity to inspire yours.

I look forward to playing with this tangle–it’s delightfully simple and spacious. I also feel the need to point out how amazing your “folded paper tangle” technique is. So creative and interesting!

I’m a little late to Zentangle party; my mom found it recently and I decided to try even tho I have NO artistic talent…lol. I look for patterns that don’t look too intimidating as I’m starting out and this one is fun and even I could do it! Thank you for sharing! Can’t wait to see what happens when I work with it! =-)
