How to draw STONE NECKLACE

Zentangle pattern: Stone NecklaceStone Necklace is a tangle pattern from Suzanne McNeill’s Zentangle 5 which explores jewelry-making with a Zentangle® flair. You can learn more about Zentangle 5 by going to the BOOK REVIEWS tab at the top of any page and selecting it from the drop-down menu.

This fun tangle is a little more difficult than it appears at first glance because you have to judge the spacing and size of the smaller circles in order to have room to fit the connecting bands. You could have a lot of fun with Stone Necklace by varying the number, size and shape of the “beads”, adding drop shadows, and so on. Here I added a bit of inside shading on the larger circles to give them a little contour.

Suzanne illustrates the steps for drawing Stone Necklace here.
