How to draw MOVING DAY

Zentangle pattern: Moving DayWho finds time to tangle when they’re moving? Canadian CZT® Margaret Bremner did and she came up with her Moving Day tangle pattern. That’s impressive! Especially since this tangle takes time – one deliberate stroke at a time – and the fills require patience, but the end results are worth the effort.

Margaret writes, “Don’t overthink the stripes. You don’t need the same number of stripes in each square. The interesting thing happens when they mismatch at the corners.” Both the number of lines and the stripes you choose to fill are intended to be random to get the desired effect of Moving Day.

Margaret illustrates the steps for drawing Moving Day and has an example Zentangle® tile with a variation here.
