How to draw PAIS

Zentangle pattern: PaisPais is a tangle pattern created by graphic designer Mikee Huber, a student in one of CZT® Carole Ohl’s Zentangle classes. “It looked like so much fluid tangle fun I had to try it right away,” writes Carole.

Pais is a very fun, flowing pattern to play with. Mikee says, “I like for the lines to come from a point, and build off of it. I mostly work from the outer line, inwards. If I feel a Pais needs more, I add to the outside, trying to keep the look that the Pais is blooming or growing.”

Mikee shows the step-by-step instructions for drawing Pais, here and Carole includes one of her beautiful Zentangles featuring Pais.
