How to draw PLAID

Zentangle pattern: PlaidThis striking tangle pattern, Plaid, was created by Australian CZT® Jane Monk.

Plaid makes a great filler but be warned – I dubbed this one my “Micron killer”. Once you lay down the basic lines, save your 01 and get out the bigger nibs, even the Graphic.

Jane uses a grid of dots to establish the framework on which you build this pattern, and she illustrates how to draw her tangle pattern Plaid, here.

PS – If you find yourself “messing up” when filling in solid areas, you might find my tip posted with Arrowheads helpful.

Check out the tag janem for more of Jane’s patterns on TanglePatterns.com.
