How to draw INTERSECTION

Zentangle pattern: IntersectionCZT® and author Suzanne McNeill named this Zentangle pattern, Intersection. It is one of the 40+ patterns in her latest Zentangle book, Zentangle 3. I wonder if she channeled a Zentangle version of the Union Jack? ;-) In fairness, my version is a little different than Suzanne’s.

Suzanne recently posted the instructions for drawing the tangle pattern Intersection, here.

Check out the tag: suzannem for more of Suzanne’s patterns on tanglepatterns.com.

  • You’re doing a great job here!
I’ve been reading your posts for hours!!

I enjoy your website (I am a CZT also). Wish you could add rollovers on the panes above the alphabet at the top of your page so that the different patterns would be identified. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Thanks, Karen. In the comments on the “Appeal for Tag Assistance” post I mentioned I’m working on a slideshow feature that will have clickable images linked to the pattern page. Several people have expressed the same “wish” as you, and I agree that the site has reached the stage where that’s a very useful addition. It’s a time-consuming job to program but I am working on it and expect to have it up soon.

More on the identification of patterns at the top of the page. I took the path of least resistance and today I added pattern names to the drawings because it was more expedient than doing the slideshow. The images are not clickable, so just navigate to the related page.

        Please note:
Asterisked pattern names don’t have a page on tanglepatterns.com (yet).

The drawings do not include all the patterns already posted but will eventually.

  • Linda, great job on this site! I was reading your blog and saw you just created it in May of this year. Amazing. It’s so well organized and is a wonderful resource.

I really enjoyed Suzanne M’s tangle intersection. It has a great strong presence and gives a good contrast to my zentangle creations.

  • Amazing! So gonna use it for my name zentangles!
